Brittani Williams LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Adjunct Professor, Social Work Entrepreneur, Founder of Healmatic Group Practice, Mom and Hip Hop enthusiast.
After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University of Southern California, she pursued her Master’s in Social Work, at The University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Her clinical training in Southern California consisted of working with behaviorally challenged youth; at schools, group homes and residential care facilities. This experience transitioned into a therapeutic management role in the public-school setting. There she worked to assist school teams with maintaining and improving the overall mental health of students and families.
Brittani has worked over 8 years in the Social Work field, gaining a wide variety of social work and therapeutic experience. As a clinical supervisor, she provides training to pre-licensed therapists in utilizing a variety of treatment modalities and techniques. Now, with a private practice providing individual, couples, family and group therapy she uses her experience as Adjunct Professor to teach Social Work courses, preparing future social workers to enter the field of mental health.
In her free time, she enjoys her husband and 3 kids; creating music, and contributing to the collective work of Hip Hop Therapy.
